This poem by UW professor Ronald Wallace was ruminated upon during the raccoon news' recent writer's strike. You may have seen it before in these offices or elsewhere, but it bears repeating.

The editor read it to his Knights of Pythias lodge last week during The Good of the Order time in his position as The Prelate, who gives invocations, benedictions, and renders matters of spiritual guidance.
